I drank for 20 years. I tried multiple times on my own and with medications to stop drinking, but eventually the cravings and anxiety attacks would be too strong and I would start drinking again. I met with Dr. Helen Gable after a 10 day inpatient detoxification program. I saw her daily for one month, then every other day, and now I see her once weekly. Glenn came out to our annual breakfast with very little notice and shot video of one of our speakers. During the shooting, our speaker - who was very nervous and had plenty of jitters - knocked loose her mic. Glenn was very concerned that the finished product was not up to his standards and offered to do the next shoot for free - an idea I immediately dismissed since the error was NOT HIS (he knew that interupting our young speaker to refit the mic would be too much of a distraction). His attempt to correct a problem he did not cause and his pride in his work were very impressive. I would give Glenn work any time, and indeed, we are now discussing the next project. I would like to give an additional shout out to Donna DeMarchi, who believes so much in the work of both United for Families and Glenn that she underwrote the project.

From our initial meeting to the final inspection, you and your team were totally supportive, encouraging and fun to be around. Everyone's professionalism and knowledge was a comfort to me as I watched my kitchen being torn out and placed in "hibernation" in preparation for the mold mediation. All during the remediation process, you and your team made an effort to keep me informed of the progress being made and though there were delays, I was always given warning of them. I want to stress that it was a great relief to be kept "in the loop" by your team (Pete, Robert, Leroy, etc) on a continual basis. It's so easy to feel like a drowning victim when no one will tell you what's going on. Thankfully, that never happened, not once. Please thank Pete and his team for me. I especially want to thank you, Rich, for meeting with the insurance adjustor with me. Your knowledge of the "insurance" rules and regulations was a god-send. I also want to thank you for putting me in touch with Jetson's and getting the ball rolling on the new appliances. Lastly, I want to thank you for staying in touch with me at each new juncture of the project. You were easy to reach and quick to respond to my questions (and give encouragement). I want to assure you that I love my new kitchen and have had rave reviews from my neighbors on its beauty. On Sunday, I did something that threw my back out of alignment so bad I could barely walk or breathe. I contacted Dr. Loving's office first thing Monday morning and they told me to come right over.
